Students picked, cleaned, seasoned and baked pumpkin seeds for a treat. Then planted their own pumpkin patch with the remaining seeds.
Using their school's own Sugar Maple trees, students tapped the trees, collected the sap, boiled the sap, then made our very own maple syrup! Students tasted this syrup over freshly made pancakes (that they made themselves) of course!
Students learn about growing inside using water rather than soil outside. We enjoyed our harvest with a verdant salad!
Students grounded cocoa beans to make fresh chocolate! We made chocolate candies and melted our chocolate to dip fresh fruit in.
Our students got learned how salsa was made when they crushed the fresh tomatoes from our garden.
We learned how essential vanilla beans are when we made our own vanilla ice cream.
